Winter Edition 2009

Well, Christmas is fast approaching and I am sure you, like me, are busy buying presents and makingplans for the festive season. The truth is however, that family life is hectic whatever time of year. Although Christmas brings its own unique pressures, it seems every weekend is a hectic, activity-packed 48 hours. In fact, Christmas maybe one of the few times to visit family and friends. If your family is anything like mine, every weekend from now until the end of time, is full to the brim with sports, activities, parties and generally rushing around. There have been several Sunday nights when I look back at the weekend and feel as if I am nothing but an unpaid taxi service. So this Christmas, I am going to do things a little differently. I will cut down on the number of commitments and just enjoy some unstructured family time which will benefit everyone. Happy Christmas to you wherever and however you will be celebrating the festive season.
