WIN a FREE overnight sleepover under the water at the Sea Life Centre

Would your child and their class mates or brownie’s group fancy a night sleeping with big fish? Not many children get this chance! If so, now is the time to get them registered for the Giant Sleepover and enter this competition for the opportunity to win the night sleeping among the swishing tails in the Sea Life Centre.
On the 20 June 2009, tens of thousands of children across the globe will take part in The Giant Sleepover, the world’s largest simultaneous sleepover where they will spend the night away from home, carry out fun activities, learn new skills and sleep (hopefully!) for 7 hours to raise money for children’s charity. An event for children by children, the Giant Sleepover has grown from just one school’s commitment in 2003 to a Guinness World Record of 35,000 participants in 2008.
During the sleepovers children will get the chance to take part in a number of activities including cookery, sports, crafts and story-telling. They will also share a midnight feast, join a treasure hunt and link up around the world for a simultaneous tooth brushing session.
To register a group for the Giant Sleepover 2009 log onto www.giantsleepover.com or call 0870 240 1640 before the 29 May. It costs £2 per child and group registration starts at £10. All participants will receive a Giant Sleepover ‘Goodie Bag’ and Treasure Chest with toys, games and fun things to do on the night. The event is also open for 2010 registrations if you would like to plan ahead.
The Family Grapevine is pleased to offer a group of supervised children the chance to win their sleepover in the Sea Tunnel at the Sea Life Centre in Brighton. The group can be part of any youth group or school and must be supervised by leaders or parents with up to 25 children. On top of the unique sleepover venue they will get lots of FREE games to play and the chance to tour the Sea Life Centre after hours.
For your chance to win simply please email your name and description of the group you would like to take part in the sleepover, for example whether they a class of children or brownie group, to lucy@giantsleepover.com by the 19 May 2009. The winner will be randomly selected and notified on the 20 May 2009. There is no need to register independently for the Giant Sleepover we will take care of this for the successful group and notify the unsuccessful entrants in time for them to register themselves if they would still like to take part.
